Information to be supplied to the Registrar

Incorporated societies are legally required to supply certain information to the Registrar of Incorporated Societies.

Answer the following questions to check whether you know if your society is meeting its reporting obligations. If you answer any of the questions with “No” or “Unsure”, make it a priority to find out the relevant information or take any necessary action as soon as possible.

  • have a registered office and keep the Registrar informed of its address?
  • maintain a register of members?
  • file annual financial statements with the Registrar or Charities Commission?
  • provide the Registrar with any signed alterations to the rules?
